McCann Student's

Alumni and Business Owner Megan Rotell is an incredible woman. Ms. Rotell graduated from McCann School of Business and Technology in Dickson City, PA, in April 2009 with a degree in Early Childhood Education. Soon after graduation, Ms. Rotell opened Friends Forever Daycare and has offered externships and permanent positions to a number of our students.

Megan truly is a shining star of the Alumni Association and McCann family as she has partnered with the school on mock interviews, speaking engagements (photo taken prior to her speaking at Guidance Counselor Dinner), advisor board, externships and employment. In fact the library at Friends Forever is named after our ECE Program Director – Ms. Hilda’s Library.

Sheryl Ziobro and the staff of Physicians Health Alliance truly represent the partnerships McCann School of Business & Technology thrives on. Physicians Health Alliance represent over 20 physicians offices throughout Northeast PA and is the physicians arm of the Moses Taylor Hospital in Scranton, PA.

Physicians Health Alliance and their staff have hosted numerous mock interviews, transposing to externship’s and in the end permanent placement of many of McCann’s Medical Assistants and Business graduates.

McCann School of Business Campus Director TJ Eltringham inducts Scranton Mayor Chris Doherty at the Winter 2010 graduation ceremony. Mayor Doherty was the commencement speaker at graduation and is currently seeking a term as Senator of Pennsylvania. Mayor Doherty represents the numerous City Agencies who work with McCann on all our activities and with our numerous students.

McCann Dickson City (“Scranton Office”) welcomes David Wallace, Ex CFO Dunder Mifflin (OK Andy Buckly, actor) into the McCann Alumni Association. Now that Mr. Wallace is unemployed he is very excited to hear about the Association discounts (esp. Verizon & Dell) and would like to apply for the Career Services Coordinator Position.
