Admissions

Applicants must present evidence of high school graduation from an accredited high school for any curriculum. For non-high school graduates, the GED equivalency may be substituted. It is desirable for applicants to have maintained a C average or better in high school.

A Scholastic Level Exam is required to measure the applicant's special needs and to establish ability grouping.

The admission procedure requires an exchange of information between the applicant and the College, which maintains a staff of representatives for this purpose. These representatives conduct a personal interview with each prospective applicant before any decision is made to submit an application for admission. During the interview, the representative will discuss the College's educational programs in relation to the applicant's career preferences, training needs, and individual motivations.

To qualify for acceptance by McCann, each applicant must fully meet the following general requirements.

Each applicant must:

  • be interviewed by an admission representative;
  • take a Scholastic Level Exam to assess the applicant's academic needs and ability grouping;
