Human Services Assistant
The Human Services Assistant program provides training for the person seeking an entry-level career in social service agencies. The program includes a broad mix of course work that allows the student to acquire a blend of theory and application in many of the areas of social services offered in almost every community: Aging, Abuse, Drug and Alcohol, Welfare, Children and Youth, and Family. Entry-level positions may be as social worker aides, caseworkers, counselors, in-take representatives, and local community human services agencies.
