The Human Resource Management program at McCann School of Business & Technology benefits both HR professionals and non-HR professionals responsible for implementing human resource policies. The program provides students with a working knowledge of all evolving aspects of the field, now a requirement given HR's increasingly strategic nature.

The Human Resource Management program provides training for the person seeking an entry-level career in human resource management in for-profit, not-for-profit and government sectors. The program includes a broad mix of course work that allows the student to acquire a blend of basic business skills and the core elements of human resource management theory and application. Human Resource Management training may be applied to many business fields. Entry-level positions may be as HR generalist representatives, human resource management trainees, and compensation specialists in business, industry, and governmental agencies.

Full-time students earning an average of 16 credit hours per term may complete this program in six to seven consecutive terms or approximately eighteen to twenty-one months. The length of time required to complete the program as a part-time student will vary depending upon the number of credits earned each term.
