Why should your high school graduate choose McCann? Simply put, we know what employers are looking for. That’s why we tailor our career programs to match the fastest-growing jobs both nationally and locally. We help students find the career that’s the best fit, and provide the necessary support and education to make it happen.

At McCann we believe in a combination of classroom education and hands-on, practical experience. This method encourages students to both learn and apply their knowledge, which we believe is one reason our graduates are employment-ready.

McCann School of Business & Technology offers a variety of programs that can help students launch their careers in as little as 18-24 months. With our Jumpstart Classes (see below), they can even get started while they’re still in high school.

Knowing exactly what to do after high school is tough, but we’re with our students every step of the way. Once enrolled, they become part of our family too, and their future is important to us.

Helping Your Child Find the Right Career

You can help your child determine the right career path. Schedule a visit to one of our campuses to take advantage of a career assessment tool called Personality Profile: Understanding Yourself and Others. This analysis can help students define their personality traits, gain a better understanding of themselves and choose the career that best suits them. Career Services

Our Career Services staff provides students with the necessary tools, skills and confidence they’ll need to succeed, for their first job and beyond. In fact, we believe in staying connected with our students and offer continuous support throughout their entire career.

About Credit Transfer

From High School to McCann: McCann allows seniors to transfer up to 4 eligible classes (14 credits) from their high school to McCann. Some students may save over $3,400 and up to one full term of study in any Diploma or Specialized Degree Program.

From McCann to other Institutions: While McCann has transfer agreements with select colleges, it is ultimately the decision of the institution accepting the credits.

Jumpstart Classes

High school juniors and seniors can get a head start on their Degree or Diploma Program at McCann by enrolling in classes that fit their schedules. Ask your McCann High School Representative how your child can begin their degree while still in school.

Financial Aid & Scholarships

We help take the mystery out of Financial Aid by exploring all options available to students based on their eligibility. McCann offers four types of Scholarships: Presidential, Academic Excellence, Alumni and Imagine America.

Open House

Open Houses give parents and potential students a chance to see a campus and meet other students and faculty. They’re casual and fun, and your child is welcome to bring a friend. For open houses and other events that are coming up in your area, check out our News & Events. Or, feel free to schedule a tour when it’s most convenient for you. Just contact your McCann High School Representative to set up a visit or ask any questions.

Admissions & Application

McCann School of Business & Technology seeks students who have a strong desire for practical career training and who have the ability to achieve academic success in their classes. Our Admission procedures require an exchange of information between the applicant and the school. Applications for admission are accepted throughout the year.
