McCann Partners with Commuter Services
Pottsville, PA (09/15/2016) – Eric Ziegmont, Outreach Coordinator for Commuter Services of Pennsylvania presented a Certificate of Recognition award to Shannon Brennan, Campus Director at the Pottsville Campus of McCann School of Business & Technology. The award was presented in recognition of their partnership with Commuter Services of Pennsylvania, which signifies McCann Pottsville’s commitment, effort and dedication as an organization to promoting commuter programs to reduce traffic congestion and improve the air quality in our region.
Commuter Services is a professionally staffed organization funded by the Federal Congestions Mitigation and Air Quality funds. The organization provides free services to decrease traffic congestion by helping commuters find alternatives, rather than driving separately, and by reaching out to employers so they can help their personnel find those options. The organization believes that using alternative methods of transportation helps improve air quality, and fewer cars in rush hour can mean safer highways.
