McCann School of Business & Technology Hosting Free Computer Workshop in Pottsville
Pottsville, Pa. (July 1, 2016) – McCann School of Business & Technology is hosting a free introduction to computer workshop at CareerLink, 203 East Arch St. in Pottsville, on Tuesday, July 12, August 9 and September 13 from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m.
“This workshop will give people the basic computer skills necessary to land a job or move forward in a career,” said Karen Damiter, Information Technology Program Director at McCann School of Business & Technology. “As a local school, we like to offer Schuylkill County residents as many resources as we can.”
Damiter will run the free workshop and discuss how to turn on a computer, use a mouse and keyboard, open documents, set-up an email account, Internet access, go to different web addresses and use different search engines.
