Rosemary Mercedes Passes the programmatic NHA Certification Exam
Pottsville, Pa. (August 18, 2016) – Rosemary Mercedes (Orwigsburg) a recent graduate of the Medical Assisting program at the Pottsville Campus of McCann School of Business & Technology passed the programmatic National Healthcareer Association (NHA) certification examination. Ms. Mercedes is now a Certified Clinical Medical Assistant.
McCann encourages students to sit for programmatic certification examinations by paying for the cost of the examinations and assisting with test preparation. These examinations give students a competitive edge in the workforce since many employers either require or prefer candidates to be certified.
The 2015 examination results for the Pottsville Campus of McCann School of Business & Technology met the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP) requirements, allowing McCann to maintain programmatic accreditation of the Medical Assisting program.
NHA has been offering The National Commission for Certifying Agencies (NCCA) nationally accredited certifications to Allied Health professionals since 1989.
